Median price means the midpoint, with half of the sales being above and half of the sales being below the listed number and is not the same as “average” sales price.  Median prices reflect overall market trends and are not a measure of pricing for individual properties.  As you can see, the median price in Ashland fell 1.2%, much less than Jackson County as a whole, which was down 3.7%.
